Yellowave Kids’ Clubs are a great fun way to learn beach volleyball. All coaches are first aid trained and DBS checked. We have three age groups with the youngest starting at 8 years. The clubs all kick off the first week after the February half term holidays with the younger age groups ending at October half term. Our Senior Squad, Select and Yellowave Academy train year-round. As a national Beach Volleyball Development Centre we have the opportunity to provide a pathway into the Volleyball England performance squads. Clubs run in term time only. Our Yellowave beach café is right next to the courts allowing parents & carers to watch their kids play whilst enjoying a coffee or a bite to eat. We also offer a free sandy play area for younger or older siblings to play in – all right next to where the action happens.
Come and have a go at beach volleyball this year. Each one-off session is a mixture of fun games, skills and drills, all played in the soft sand for ages starting at 5yrs. A great way to see if you like the sport or simply something fun to do, to fill the holidays and burn off some energy. The Yellowave Senior Squad – Select is a session for players who have moved up step up from Senior Squad within the Yellowave Pathway. To discuss joining please email our Juniors’ Development Manager: jake@yellowave.co.uk
The Yellowave Senior Squad sessions are slightly more disciplined and focus on competitive play.
The cost is £7 per session and paid via a monthly standing order. Contact us for more info.
Open to children aged 10yrs+ who show real potential at excelling in beach volleyball. The Academy is invitational and runs alongside the Senior Club.
Academy players may also have the opportunity to be invited to specialist guest coaching and to enter Junior tournaments.
Book a beach volleyball or mixed beach sports kids’ party session with your own qualified coach on your own beach volleyball court. This is perfect for kids aged between 5-16yrs. Each session is geared to meet the needs of the children dependent on age and ability. You can have up to 12 children per coach/court. All coaches are DBS checked.
A 1hr kid’s party costs £135 for up to 12 children.
Why not also hire the Beach House which is situated next to the courts and has uninterrupted sea views. We can cater for your group and offer a range of party food options including sandwich and fruit/veg platters, wood-fired pizzas, Cumberland sausage hot dogs and a selection of scooped ice cream.
